The first issue is a confirmation on these Sombra changes that unintentionally made it to Live--they'll be about the PTR to be assessed and tested. These modifications increase the power and usefulness of Sombra's single target hack with a good bargain, but remove her hacked first aid kits' ability to charge her up supreme at lightning speed. The PTR will allow players to check out this brand new Sombra, who must feel much more as an Offense character and similar to an odd hybrid vehicle Support.
How about Mei, everybody's favourite ice queen? The Overwatch dev team believes she's close to balanced, but are analyzing a longer freeze duration. This should prevent slippery DPS from getting away once they have gotten to a corner or any distance from Mei. They're also giving her some more ammo for her secondary flame, which means Genjis and McCrees are on notice: Mei's a better sniper than ever before. Doomfist is getting a small change to his shooting rate. He'll fire more frequently, with shots which do less harm. He should feel as though he's doing the same amount of damage, but it ought to be more consistent and feel much more gratifying. In terms of Hanzo, he'll be coming"soon". Blizzard have attempted giving Hanzo a few fresh, alternate abilities that were discussed on the forums, such as a hammer for his special arrows along with a barrier piercing snipe. Instead, the group chose to examine a rapid-fire capability that snaps off five arrows in rapid succession. Hanzo can also horizontally leap in whatever way he is facing. While Hanzo will not be around the PTR along with Sombra and Mei's more substantial changes, it seems like he's coming along well. Finally, Jeff teases us with the next two heroes from the dev team's sights: Symmetra and Torbjörn. Those of us who like to build in Overwatch can look forward to future upgrades.
